Pick up and drop off fast and easy. Staff was really nice both in Christchurch and Auckland. We got a Station Wagen and it was perfect for two people to live/sleep in - plenty of space and we didn’t have any issues with the car. Highly recommended
The campervan was not in the best of shapes, it clearly had see better days and many miles, but it was fully functional and worked like a charm. Special shout out to the staff though, in particular Marcel who was fantastic! Camping & trails app reco, advice, favourite spots… they made the trip way better than planned
We were travelling with the campervan for three weeks in mid-November. The handover went smoothly. Competent and friendly (Marcel). We had a few questions along the way. Communication with customer service was excellent: both by email and by phone. Unfortunately, the camping chairs we ordered were not usable. However, they were refunded without any fuss. The drop-off, again in Auckland, went without a hitch. Lay was very friendly and everything went quickly. We were travelling as a family with two children and had a wonderful time in New Zealand.
This is our 3rd van hire from Travellers Autobarn! First a 4 month hire, second a 3 week hire and then most recently a 1 week relocation deal. Each time has been fantastic, they set you up for success each time. Craig in Christchurch got us set up quickly and sent us on our way! And Lay in Auckland had us covered each time! I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Travellers Autobarn in Auckland. From start to finish, our 30-day trip around New Zealand in one of their campervans was nothing short of spectacular. First and foremost, the service provided by Travellers Autobarn was top-notch. The staff was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. They made the entire process, from booking to pick-up, a breeze. Any questions we had were met with patience and clear explanations, which helped put our minds at ease. Had an amazing 2 weeks in our Kuga Campervan from Travellers Autobarn. She was perfect! Perfect size with the high roof and very spacious. Recommend getting the outdoor table and chairs too, to hang out with in the sun! We wish we could take our "Campy" home! Such an awesome way to see the country. Easy pick up and drop offs, Chris was very helpful, and all the staff is kind and happy to answer any questions we had.
The Kuga camper van was an ideal accommodation for two people on a weeklong adventure through the South Island. With a cooktop, fridge, microwave and sink we could easily cook on the go. Also, there was plenty of storage space under the benches that turn into a bed. Check out Travellers Autobarn for your New Zealand roadtrip. Pickup after hours is also an option if that suits your travel needs!
Easy booking online, speedy service both at pick up and drop off, and friendly staff. We had no issues with our chubby van during our month adventure in NZ!
We rent Chubby camper van for 12 days in Christchurch, it was clean, well maintained and in a good price. We got everything we need in the van, and the small heater and sleeping bag were all worked well. Graig and Joseph are incredibly friendly and helpful. The pick up and drop off procedures were very efficient and smoothly. Graig gave us some useful advice before we started our adventure. Thanks Travellers Autubarn.
We had nice experience with Travellers Autobarn since the pick up and drop off. They offer very convenient service with delightful treatment. Chris provide useful information and few advise before both of us start our beautiful journey. Our Kuga campervan surprisingly very clean and comfortable with all the amenities and complete kitchen equipment. Van work very fine job for our 3 week journey in southern nz. Definitely will using their services again next time.. we'll be missing our amazing and beautiful time with our 'kuga van'. It's very fun when you can bring home everywhere..
